The following was taken from the back of a carton of 1% chocolate lowfatmilk in a school cafeteria.
Ingredients: Lowfat Milk, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Chocolate Premix (cocoaprocessed with Alkali, Food Starch, Salt, Carrageenan,Vanillin (artificialflavor) Skim Milk Powder, Mono & Diglicerides, Polysorbate 80, PropyleneGlycol, Disodium Phosphate, Sodium Citrate, Cellulose gum, Dextrose, VitaminA, Palmitate, Vitamin D3
Need I say more?

it is shocking isn't it!! these should not be available in schools for children to buy, they should have real milk, juice or water and not this stuff!
ReplyDeleteMost of the kids these days probably wouldn't drink real milk if it wasn't flavored with all that 'chocolate' stuff. Sad :(
ReplyDeleteMost kids these days have not ever tasted "real milk." (See our link above for "Real Milk Videos"). Unflavored Ultra-pasteurized (burned) milk with the fat removed and powdered milk added, is not real milk. Fresh milk with all the cream is delicious.
ReplyDeleteIn addition milk can be "flavored" without adding high fructose corn syrup, food-grade antifreeze, denatured powdered milk, and other garbage.
