Menu for the Future Discussion Course

Dates: Tuesdays, Sept. 14 - Oct. 26
Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm
Location: Heifer Village, Little Rock
Cost: $40 per person, includes course materials

This course explores the connection between food and sustainability.  We’ll trace the path from family farming to the array of food choices that our modern industrial society food system offers today. We'll examine the ecological and economic impacts that accompany the way we grow and prepare food. We’ll consider the benefits of choosing local, seasonal and sustainably grown and produced foods.

Participants will gain insight into individual choices that promote both personal and ecological well-being and lead to a more sustainable food supply. Number of participants is limited for a more indepth and personal growth experience.
